Lake Mary Ronan – An Angler’s Delight
Distance from Mt. Forge: 45 minute drive
Lake Mary Ronan is an awesome state park less than an hour from Mount Forge. We took the canoe out for some fishing this afternoon, and while we didn’t have any luck we had a great time. I would blame our lack of success on our lack of skill though, because every time we go to Zimmer Tackle for fishing advice and bait they tell us how successful anglers are at that lake. It also has a campground, lake houses, and great hiking in the area. Not to mention you can catch the coveted Kokanee Salmon here!
