*** Hiking Safely In Grizzly Country
The first time we ever went to Glacier National Park in 2017 we didn’t really know what we were getting ourselves into. It was late in the afternoon and we had just finished whitewater rafting and our guide said we needed to drive Going-To-The-Sun Road. We drove it out all the way to Logan Pass, and what we saw was unreal. We wound through turns and scenery unlike anything we had ever seen before. Being from the east coast, the landscape just doesn’t look like it does in Montana. Even though we had a 2+ hour drive back after dark to our Airbnb (we didn’t have Mount Forge back then), it was the greatest decision we could have made. That trip, and specifically that drive down Going-to-the-Sun Road got us hooked on Montana and we’ve been coming back for more ever since.
