One day when we wanted to have a BBQ at Mount Forge we decided to head down to the locally recommended butcher. When you walk inside it’s got this beautiful tall ceiling and freezers lining the walls all the way around the inside. As you work your way around through all the amazing options. Everything is locally sourced and you can choose from pork, chicken, fish, beef. You name it, they have it. They have pre-seasoned marinated chicken dishes and every cut of meat you can imagine. A unique treat is the beef bacon, thinly sliced beef that you can fry up for breakfast. They even have scrap meat you can cook up for the dog, Forge goes crazy for this stuff! Make sure you grab a snack stick on your way out.
